Solid selection for strolling in Halifax with good price-value balance. The room was cozy, but a bit dark for makeup. Watch out for the noise from the stairs at night.

Beautiful decor and cozy ambiance throughout the hotel.
Unfortunately, the noise from the stairs was quite bothersome. I understand it's an older building, but it really affected our stay. We tried to tiptoe around, but the sound still seemed to echo. This was quite disappointing, as we hoped for a more restful experience.

gated gardens, soothing pond with carp, breathtaking views from bedroom
A light above the bathroom sink would be highly beneficial for personal grooming!!! The access to the walking trail needs clearer signage so newcomers don't get lost on their way!!!

During our stay, the charming décor and cozy furnishings of our Deluxe Double Room made us feel right at home. The private gated garden provided breathtaking views, and Philip's warm welcome made our experience even better. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of delicious choices. One small improvement would be the addition of a handrail in the bathroom for added safety.

The King Room showcases elegant decor paired with an incredibly comfy bed, ensuring a cozy stay. The private gated garden offers stunning views—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The bathroom setup has quirks. the mirror's placement is frustratingly high for makeup application, requiring some awkward maneuvers. the lighting in the room can feel a bit dim, making tasks like getting ready a tad cumbersome without a brighter lighted mirror.
