great stay but minor noise issues

The superior king room provided a fantastic view of the park, making for a stunning backdrop to our stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, leaving us well-rested for our adventures.

There were some minor noises from outside that slightly interrupted our relaxation.

Solid selection for strolling in Halifax with good price-value balance. The room was cozy, but a bit dark for makeup. Watch out for the noise from the stairs at night.

Unfortunately, the noise from the stairs was quite bothersome. I understand it's an older building, but it really affected our stay. We tried to tiptoe around, but the sound still seemed to echo. This was quite disappointing, as we hoped for a more restful experience.

The king room was charming and cozy, featuring a comfy bed and lovely decor. The private garden offered stunning views which were perfect for morning coffee. Phil, the owner, was super welcoming and gave great dining tips. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was deliciously prepared. Highly recommend this place.

we had a lovely stay at shibden hall view bed & breakfast. the deluxe double room was beautifully decorated, with an incredibly comfy bed. we loved the private gated garden with stunning views. philip, the owner, made us feel very welcome and offered great dining recommendations. breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices!
